Professional Education
Dr. Hardacre earned his medical degree at Indiana University. He then served in the United States Navy as a Medical Officer and received specialized training in Undersea Medicine. Before leaving the military he earned the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Dr. Hardacre received his radiation oncology training at Indiana University.

Honors and Memberships
Dr. Hardacre is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, American College of Radiology, American College of Radiation Oncology, and American Society of Clinical Oncology. The Radiological Society of North America recognized his research work in 2002 with the Roentgen Research Award. He currently serves as medical director of radiosurgery at the CyberKnife Center of Indianapolis and staff radiation oncologist at Central Indiana Cancer Centers. He is a member of the CyberKnife Society National Protocol Development Committee and US Oncology Radiation Oncology Pathway Development Steering Committee.
Personal
Dr. Hardacre is married with three children. His wife is a local Obstetrician Gynecologist. He remains an avid runner, and enjoys skiing and golf.
